A Registered Patent Agent in Singapore, Ameen Kalani is a talented communicator and relationship-builder. He was instrumental in setting up the Singapore Office of Henry Goh in 1998 and brings with him many years of exposure and experience in the field of human resources management and industrial relations.

Before joining Henry Goh, Ameen gained hands-on experience in the area of patents prosecution and portfolio management at a leading Singapore law firm. He has since become a respected figure in the Singapore intellectual property scene and is frequently consulted on matters of law and practice. He currently oversees the operations of the Patents & Designs and Trademarks Departments in the Singapore Office while being primarily involved in patents prosecution work where his work scope includes but not limited to liaising with clients to understand and obtain their individual requirements, drafting proposals for clients’ consideration, preparing and submitting applications and managing a large portfolio of patents, trademarks and industrial designs applications.

Ameen is a member of Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys (ASPA), Asian Patent Attorney’s Association (APAA) and International Trade Mark Association (INTA). He holds an Honours degree in Law and a post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management. He audited the Patents, Registered Designs and Copyright modules in the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law course offered by the Law faculty of the National University of Singapore in conjunction with the IP Academy of Singapore.
